Papanui High School has a proud reputation of attainment in sport. Current students are competing at Provincial, National and New Zealand Team levels.
Inter-secondary sport is undertaken in every school term. Summer seasons are terms one and four. The winter season runs consecutively in terms two and three. Generally students play on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the exception of Volleyball and Basketball which are played on Mondays and Fridays respectively.

We have strong ties with community sports clubs and currently work along side these clubs to support the development of our students, and to provide an avenue for our students to continue in their sport once they leave school.
All sporting enquires should be directed to our Sports Coordinator.
