PHOTOGRAPHY INTERMEDIATE (FOR FILM OR DIGITAL SLR CAMERAS):COURSE NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL TERM 4 This course will not only explore the techniques involved in portrait, landscape and photojournalism, but also how these traditional mediums have been influenced by the advent of digital photography. We will also cover basic file handling, file storage, backup techniques, create interesting slide shows, simple Photoshop techniques, photo manipulation, colour space and profiles and the advantages/disadvantages of both home and commercial lab printing. SINGING - PERFORMERS WORKSHOP FOR THE SINGING KIWI BLOKE:This is a musical workshop for Men (aged 20-55) who can sing in tune and dream of being on stage but need help with all the music reading stuff. The course will cover the basics of reading music and following choral music as well as starting to learn concert music. Participants will be integrated into Christchurch City Choir with a singing buddy. The course will culminate in Concert Gloria on 18 September (with dress rehearsals on 16 and 17 September) with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra in the Town Hall.
